Before you start working out which friend would stab you in the back for a laugh and a bag of gold, here’s our list of the archetypes in The Traitors: Anywhere!
The Faithfuls: Logical or Logistical?
Being a Faithful is arguably the hardest role in The Traitors: Anywhere. You and your fellow Faithfuls are completely in the dark, trying to uncover the Traitors before they uncover you. As a result, Faithful behaviour ranges from accidental genius to complete disaster (and everything in between!).
The Vibe Detective
Logic? Evidence? Analysis? Never heard of it. As a Vibe Detective, you trust your gut, which has never proved you wrong (yet).
We love that you’re willing to back yourself, but don’t let a Traitor hide in plain sight. Actions speak louder than words, but in your group chat, you’ll want to keep an eye on both…
The Clever Clogs
If you’re the friend, colleague or person that everyone turns to for advice, you may very well be a Clever Clogs.
Wise as an owl and quick to spot a clue, you’ve got a sharp eye for deception. There’s just one catch: being right too often can make you look suspicious. And since everyone knows how smart you are, they might think you’re trying to pull the wool over their eyes, as you’d be so well placed to do it.
Our advice? Keep your superpower as close to your chest as possible. This is a superpower that you don’t want people knowing about too readily!
The Shifting Echo
On a spectrum of stubborn to agreeable, you sit prettily at the amenable end. And generally, there’s nothing wrong with that.
You’re not against changing your opinion readily and steadily, you’ll admit when you’re wrong and declare a change in your position. But if you do this too often, you do run the risk of seeming fickle under scrutiny.
Our advice? Don’t point the finger one minute, then change your mind the next. At The Round Table, consistency goes a long way.
The Golden Retriever
Let’s be honest, you’re going to play this more than once and probably with several different groups because people just love having you around.
And who could blame them? Fun, positive and energetic, the party (and indeed, the finger-pointing), doesn’t start until your number’s added to the group chat.
The bad news is that this makes you the perfect target for the Traitors because nobody would ever believe that you could be eliminated so ruthlessly. But on the plus side, whoever does it will (probably) feel really bad about it.
The Traitors: Cold, Calculated or Crafty?
To win as a Traitor, you have to be comfortable being someone’s best friend, coffee confidant or top employee and then signing their death warrant an hour later. It takes a special kind of player to pull it off. Here’s how you might go about it in The Traitors: Anywhere…
The Ice Statue
Someone dial up the thermostat, there’s a chill in the air and it’s coming from you!
Easygoing but never easy to rattle, you’re not the type of person to get flustered under pressure. On the contrary, you take unpleasant responsibility in your stride.
If you ever get bored of being the coolest person in the room, let us know - we’d happily take some tips from you. Just don’t let your calm demeanour expose you. When everyone else is feeling the heat, staying too cool can be just as suspicious.
The Chaos Agent
Here you are, the one everyone’s already wary of!
There’s never a dull moment while you’re around, and you’re renowned for your sense of humour. You don’t mind pressing people’s buttons, and orchestrating the mayhem is part and parcel of knowing you.
A Chaos Agent isn’t ever just out to win, they’re here to cause as much mischief as possible.
The Innocent Assassin
Not to be dramatic, but you’re going to make your fellow players’ jaws drop to the floor when it’s revealed that it was you all along.
Somehow, you’re able to go under the radar and stay there. Maybe it’s your calmness, or perhaps bolder personalities underestimate you; whatever it is, you’re more than capable of snatching the whole prize pot of gold while everyone else is looking the other way.
The Puppet Master
If we had to describe you in one word, it’d be organised.
You handle social situations extremely well and know exactly how to position yourself to be in charge without seeming bossy or demanding.
In The Traitors: Anywhere, you’ll have to tread carefully so as not to expose your string-wielding ways, but if anybody can do that, we’ll bet it’s you.
